Lorraine Njos, LICSW
Lorraine Njos, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
Lorraine has a special interest in working with children between the ages of 0-5. As a therapist who works with the early childhood population, she utilizes a systemic approach. She does so by providing parents and caregivers with education and understanding of children’s brain development, and working on co-regulation to create healthy and secure relationships. Lorraine also incorporates CBT and mindfulness in children with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and anger issues.
She has worked in the foster care and adoption system for years. Lorraine also has a special interest in, Child Centered Play Therapy, Filial Play Therapy, Theraplay methods, and Child Parent Psychotherapy.
Lorraine graduated with her Masters of Social Work in 2008 from St. Thomas University. She is rostered in Child Parent Psychotherapy and is currently working toward Infant Mental Health Specialist Endorsement through Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health.
