Emily McInnis, LMFT
Emily McInnis, MA, LMFT, enjoys providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
She utilizes concepts from a variety of different therapeutic approaches; including but not limited to Adlerian therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, art therapy, play therapy and person-centered therapy.
Emily works to meet the needs of her clients by developing a strong therapeutic relationship and using a holistic approach to help clients find their own healing potential.
She has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, anger management, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, grief, attachment and relational difficulties, as well as families experiencing trauma. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Emily earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate School.
